testing sponsored byArgosXFree app testing for your hackathon team
your hackathon. ArgosX checks your app the way a careful stranger would, then tells you, in plain English, what to fix before the judges (or real users) find it.
Start: create your account →Three fast checks: is your database open to the public, are any API keys visible in your page source, are security headers missing.
Everything in the Quick check, plus your VibeScore out of 100 and a full plain-English fix list. No account needed, and this scan doesn't sign in to your app.
The comprehensive one. Signs into your app with a test account you provide and drives real flows, even as different user roles (e.g. a regular user vs. an admin), which is where data leaks actually show up. Ask your organizer whether free Pro scans are available for this event.
Open your sign-up link
Use the blue button above, or go to getargosx.com/login?mode=signup
Create your account
Just add an email & password. (If it says “check your email,” click the confirm link inside.)
Add your app
On the Test your app page, paste your app's live web link (e.g. your Base44 https://your-app.base44.app).
Pick a scan and run it
Run any of the three above. A Pro AI scan normally requires a paid plan, check with your organizer if free ones are available for this event.
Read your report & fix
You get a VibeScore and a plain-English fix list. Start with anything marked High or about sensitive data. Re-scan after you fix, and watch your score climb.
What the Pro scan adds
Beyond the public pages, Pro signs into your app with a test account you provide and drives real flows, even as different kinds of user (say, a regular user vs. an admin). If it comes back clean behind the login, that's good news: it means those flows held up. Use a throwaway test login only, never a real person's.
Organizers: a custom leaderboard for your event
Every team's scan can feed a leaderboard built just for your hackathon, so you and your judges can see every submission ranked by its VibeScore at a glance. Want one for your event? Email support@getargosx.com.
Two rules:
1. Only scan your own team's app.
2. Never use a real person's login. If your app has a sign-in, make a fake/test account for testing, never a real person's.
